The formation of the caves is known as speleologists. Caves are formed by various geologic processes and can be variable sizes. These may involve a combination of chemical processes, erosion from water, tectonic forces, microorganisms, pressure, and atmospheric influences.[1]

Son Doong Cave :
This Cave is one of the best magnificent caves all over the world and has the following data :
- The cave is five times larger than Phong Nha Cave, a nearby cave previously considered the biggest cave in Vietnam that’s according to the Limberts,
- The biggest chamber of Sơn Đoòng is more than 5 kilometres long, 200 metres high and 150 metres wide.
Russian Ice Cave Near The Mutnovsky Volcano
This Ice Cave is one of the best magnificent caves which is found on the Kamchatka Peninsula of Russia and has the following data :
- The almost kilometer long tunnel was formed by a high temperature water spring flowing beneath the ice fields on the flanks of the nearby Mutnovsky volcano.

This cave is found in Mexico and it the main tunnel contains giant selenite crystals ( gypsum ) and some of the largest natural crystals are found in that cave. The Naica Mine cave has the following data :
- The largest crystal that is found in that cave is 12 m in length, 4 m in diameter and 55 tons in weight.
- The temperature in that cave is extremely hot, with air temperatures reaching up to 58 °C with 90 to 99 percent humidity.
Vatnajokull Glacier Cave
This cave is found in Iceland and it is one of the largest and most voluminous ice cap in Iceland, and one of the largest in area in Europe. And it has the following data :
- The area of the cave is about 8,100 km², and the volume is about 3,100 km³ and the second-largest in area.
- The average rate of the cave thickness of the ice is 400 m , with a maximum thickness of 1,000 m.
Batu Caves
This cave is found in Malaysia and it is a limestone hill that has a series of caves and cave temples It takes its name from the Sungai Batu (Batu River), which flows past the hill. Batu Caves is also the name of the nearby village.
Mendenhall Glacier Cave
This cave is found in U.S. state of Alaska. and it is a glacier about 19 km long , about 19 km from downtown Juneau.
Reed Flute Cave
This cave is found in China and it is a landmark and tourist attraction in Guilin, Guangxi.

This cave is found in LaFayette, Georgia and it has a maximum height of 179 meters, which makes it the largest in the U.S.A.
